The azaleas may have wilted, but the golf is still blooming. The 2025 RBC Heritage tees off this Thursday, April 17th, at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina - and for those of us up here in the Pacific Northwest, it’s the perfect excuse to keep the Masters vibes rolling for one more week.
Known for its iconic red-and-white lighthouse, tight doglegs, and seaside winds, Harbour Town is a completely different test than Augusta. There’s no booming your driver here - you’ve gotta shape shots, hit fairways, and stay dialed in with the wedges. It’s strategic golf at its best.
If you’re kicking back with a cold one in Seattle, Spokane, or Sisters this weekend, here’s everything you need to know - from our favorite picks to some fun course facts and how to watch it all from the West Coast.

Betting Picks for the RBC Heritage 2025
To Win It All: Ludvig Åberg (+1200)
The Swedish sensation showed serious poise with a top 10 at Augusta (minus that triple-bogey on 18), and this week’s setup should suit him even more. He’s got the accuracy and approach play Harbour Town demands, plus the confidence boost of knowing he can hang with the best. This might be the week he grabs his first PGA Tour win on American soil.
Top 10 Lock: Corey Conners (+230)
This guy is a ball-striking machine, and that’s exactly what you need around Harbour Town’s narrow corridors and postage-stamp greens. Conners quietly posted a top-10 here last year and is coming off a solid run at the Masters. If his putter shows up even a little, he’ll be right there come Sunday.
Dark Horse: Daniel Berger (+4500)
Don’t sleep on Berger. After dealing with injuries, he’s finally healthy and showing flashes of the form that made him a top-20 staple just a couple years ago. He’s accurate off the tee, great with his mid-irons, and has the kind of veteran savvy that plays well in a course management test like this. At these odds, he’s a sneaky-good value play.
RBC Heritage 2025 Viewing Guide (Pacific Time)
Thursday & Friday: Golf Channel, 11 am – 3 pm
Saturday & Sunday: Golf Channel (10–12), CBS (12–3 pm)
Streaming: PGA Tour Live on ESPN+—includes featured groups and early coverage
Bonus: Harbour Town’s scenery - marshes, Spanish moss, and Calibogue Sound - makes it one of the most picturesque watches of the year. Seriously, it's like a coastal version of Chambers Bay with tighter corridors.
Harbour Town Fast Facts
Designer: Pete Dye, with help from Jack Nicklaus (his first design collab)
Opened: 1969
Par: 71 | Yardage: Just over 7,100 yards - but it plays even shorter
Signature Hole: The par-4 18th, playing along the water to the famous lighthouse
Style of Play: Think less bombs-away, more chess match. Narrow fairways and small greens mean you need brains over brawn.

Did You Know...?
Harbour Town has crowned some of the game’s great shot-makers—past champs include Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, and Jordan Spieth.
The field is usually stacked post-Masters - many top players love the relaxed Hilton Head vibe (and those seafood dinners).
Winners here often rank top-5 in Strokes Gained: Approach - so keep an eye on your iron players.
Players and fans ride bikes all over Hilton Head during the week. We can’t think of a better contrast to the pressure cooker of Augusta.
From the Northwest to the Lowcountry
We might be 3,000 miles away, but watching the RBC Heritage from the PNW feels like an exhale after Masters week. It’s laid-back, tactical golf in a postcard setting - and for us up here, it’s a reminder that our own season is just heating up.
So whether you’re tuning in between rounds at Willows Run, chasing twilight at Indian Canyon, or planning your next buddies trip to Bandon, this is the perfect weekend to stay plugged in.
Let us know your picks, your viewing setups, and your favorite post-Masters rituals—we’re all about celebrating golf culture out here. And if Åberg gets it done? Let’s just say we called it (just like last week with Rory's master's win)..
